A 2.3 x 1.9 x 1.8 cm matrix of crystallized colorless calcite is hosting an attractive and aesthetic grouping of lustrous metallic stacked cubic crystals of acanthite to 0.3 cm in size. The crystals are sharply formed and completely undamaged; the luster is excellent. Overall this one is very attractive and excellent for this classic old German silver mining district! Superb anatase thumbnail specimen consisting of inter-grown dark blue metallic lustrous double terminated crystals set on a small crystallized quartz matrix. Shows nicely all around. A superb highly lustrous slightly translucent purple apatite-(CaF) crystal measuring 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.8 cm in size is set nicely upon a 5.5 x 4.0 x 1.5 cm matrix. The matrix is mostly coated by sparkling white quartz crystals. The crystal shows on both sides of the matrix. Tiny microscopic chipping is present on one crystal edges as seen in the photos. Overall in very good condition considering the size of the crystal for this locality. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. The piece dates back to the 1960's. I originally sold this specimen back in the 1990's. A superb large lustrous translucent bluish-green crystal grouping of barite measuring 12.3 cm across is set on a crystalline dolomite matrix with other smaller barite crystals. Shows nicely all around 360 degrees. One tiny chip is present on the back right corner of the main crystal; this on the back of the piece and does not show when the piece is displayed. Overall I think this in outstanding condition for a British barite. Very aesthetic; measures 12.3 x 8.0 x 7.0 cm in size overall. Very neat and fine for aquamarine from China! A large double terminated loose blue mostly transparent lustrous crystal measuring 11.2 x 5.0 x 2.6 cm in size. Complete all around and without damage. One end of the piece exhibits unusual multiple terminations; the other is completely flat. Good aquamarine of this quality and size are not often seen available from China. Two choice glassy gemmy blue aquamarine crystals are forming a parallel cluster with silver crystallized muscovite. Complete all around; one tiny chip is present along a crystal edge on the back of the piece as seen in the two lower photos. Outside of this, the piece is perfect and the chip is not seen when the specimen is displayed properly. The crystals are both double terminated. A neat and beautiful hand sized gem crystal specimen! Until the recent finds of bornite to surface in Kazakhstan, the world's best examples of this species were known to come from Cornwall. The example shown here is quite good, consisting of a 7.9 x 4.4 x 2.4 cm matrix, the top completely covered by slightly iridescent bornite crystals measuring to 0.3 cm in size. Overall in very good condition damage-wise. This is a fine old Cornish classic. Superb glassy gem quality yellow complex brazilianite crystal without matrix. A fine thumbnail measuring 2.8 x 1.6 x 1.0 cm in size; complete all around and a floater with no points of attachment. Damage-free to my naked eye; with a 10x loupe I can find minimal and very tiny chipping on one upper crystal edge. Overall I think this in excellent condition.
